This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game Bubble Time ("the App",
"we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App you agree to
the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Data you provide (optional)
Nickname — a short name you choose in-app (max 20 characters). No real name is required.
Country — selected from a list, used to display your flag in leaderboards.
1.2 Data stored locally on your device
Game settings (music / sound FX / music volume, combo effects preference).
Language preference.
Selected country.
Personal score history ("My Best" leaderboard).
Ad cooldown timestamps (to prevent abuse).
Anonymous session tokens (Supabase, Firebase).
This data is stored on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers unless you submit a score to the online leaderboard.
1.3 Data submitted to online leaderboards
When your round ends, the App automatically submits the following to our backend (Supabase):
Your chosen nickname.
Your selected country code (ISO 2-letter, e.g. "pl", "us").
Your game score and game mode (classic / arcade).
Timestamp of the round.
An anonymous user identifier (randomly generated, not linked to any real identity).
1.4 Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
We use Firebase Analytics to understand game usage and improve features. Collected events include:
Screen views (which screens you visit).
Rounds started / ended with score and mode.
Booster usage.
Country and language selection.
Technical information (device model, OS version, app version, crash reports).
Firebase Analytics may collect an anonymous advertising identifier (AAID on Android, IDFA on iOS) as documented by Google's privacy policy.
1.5 Advertising (Google AdMob)
Ads are displayed in the App via Google AdMob:
Banner ads — shown at the bottom of the menu and certain screens.
Rewarded video ads — optional; user-initiated (e.g. "Watch ad for +1 change").
Interstitial ads — occasional full-screen ads between game sessions.
Google AdMob may collect anonymous data to personalize ads, including your advertising identifier,
approximate region, device information, and ad interaction history. Details:

2. Your Consent (GDPR, CCPA, UK)
For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or US states with applicable privacy laws,
we present a consent dialog (via Google User Messaging Platform) before serving personalized ads.
You can:
Accept personalized ads.
Opt for non-personalized ads only.
Manage your consent at any time via Settings → Manage ad consent in the App.
On iOS 14.5+, the system App Tracking Transparency dialog also applies for IDFA access.
3. How We Use Data
Display rankings, flags, and nicknames in global and country leaderboards.
Save your game progress and preferences.
Show relevant advertisements.
Analyze gameplay to improve features and fix bugs.
Detect and prevent cheating (rate limits, sanity checks on score submissions).
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share limited anonymous data with:
Leaderboard scores — retained indefinitely unless deleted upon request.
Analytics events — retained by Firebase per Google's default retention policy (up to 14 months).
Local data — stored on your device until the App is uninstalled.
Anonymous user identifiers may reset if you reinstall the App.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Request a copy of your data.
Request deletion of your data (including leaderboard entries).
Withdraw consent to personalized advertising.
Object to specific processing activities.

7. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for ages 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). If a parent/guardian believes their child has
submitted personal data, please contact us to request deletion.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security practices: HTTPS for all network communication, anonymous
authentication tokens stored securely on your device, row-level security policies in our database,
and rate limiting on score submissions. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is
100% secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an
updated "Effective date" at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Third-Party Assets and Licenses
The App uses third-party creative assets under their respective licenses (Godot Engine MIT, Craftpix Free License, Fredoka SIL OFL, Super Pixel Effects Gigapack by unTied Games, Classic UI SFX by chhoffmusic, Music Loop Bundle CC0 by Abstraction / Tallbeard). Attribution is available in Settings → Credits.
